New Home For I-10 « Result #1 on Feb 14, 2010, 7:23am »
Ok gang, well the new location is almost done. I want to give the members a chance to go ahead, sign up, (you will have to wait to be validated) and if anything is here, you want posted there too, I ask the members to help us out with doing that themselves if they could, we are kind of tied up with a million things, and no telling how much time is left before the "TOS" crew comes back to shut this place down.
Remember, I strongly advise everyone to get a new gmail email account to sign up with, and make sure your passwords with your email, and new I-10 home are complex, (mix numbers and letters) save the pass to a word pad or something on your computer so you don't forget it, but don't share it with anyone else. This is up to you, but it would really help us all out to make sure we don't get any more troubled people in our forum.

To ALL Interstate 10 Truck Stop forum members.
Current issues that have come about, force me to make some drastic changes, one of them, is to move the board OFF of proboards.
Before I post the new address for our forum, I want all who plan on joining us at the new forum, I NEED members to make a new email account for the new forum, and please make your password complex, and mixed with letters and numbers, and DO NOT share your new email, or password with anyone. Just google Gmail to go and get a new account. The reason I don't want members to join the new forum, with the same email and password they have here, is because of recent events, but also, someone is going around, and getting into various members accounts here, I don't know who, nor at this point, do I really care. Any questions, please contact me. The new address for our new forum will me sent via private message here, and will also be posted mere, in the news.
Now, also with the new forum, I'm going to get this out right here, and now. I will not have mention of Cory, or have him there as a member, period. Cory can go hang out somewhere else, and I have no farther use, to ever bring his name up again. If he, or others looking to defend him on whatever level, come to the new forum, looking to start something, or make an inflamed post about this subject, they will be banned on the spot, no questions asked, and no farther word on the subject.
Management.
Oh, and one more thing. If I get contacted by the "IC3", to which I was told, or basically threatened, I will get a hold of my lawyer, and I will follow up on any action I can take, to file a suit. You want to take to a harder level, I'm more then game.

First of all I'll say this. I've been in the (Trucksims Community) a very long time, and have had my share of immature members, and my share of forums messed with, hacked, and deleted. I am in this game to help people, actually PLAY and enjoy the games, and keep the tradition going that started way back when (Trucksims.com) was around. Unless the little punk brat idiots I'm dealing with AGAIN!, figure out how to zap my modem, and keep me from ever getting back on the internet again..... I'm going to keep coming back, and WHY? some ask.... because I'm that dedicated to passions, that is why.
For the people out there that have known me, know I'm more then fair to my members, always have been, and will give the shirt off my back to a dedicated member of my forum, if they too put some thing up to pay it forward, and need anything to keep going. For those that want to dispute that, talk trash, and point fingers at me all day.... obviously don't know me, never even tried to work with me, or are too consumed in their own greed, selfishness, and hatred, they are just too blind to friggin' get what it is I do in this community, and to them, all I have to say is, Keep trying kiddies, I don't back down for anybody.
To anyone who cares, yes we are sticking around, they can try to hack this board all they want, I have a back up in the works as I type, and when it is ready for move in, I'll be sure to post the relocation information here, before I close the doors here for good, in the effort for a more safe place to continue business, and a calmer place for my friends, members, and guests.
My regards, and condolences. Jerry, a.k.a. since 1999 (~Outlaw~/.)

Re: Message From The Owner. « Result #7 on Jan 23, 2010, 10:18am »
you totally missed the point, i said have a screen shot thread LIKE truckpol has not turn the forum into truckpol. Alot of forums have screen shot threads where people can post pictures of trips they've taken and funny stuff the stupid ai does.
Here you go off the deep end again. IMO if it's a stock model nobody has made before then release it if its a truck that you've downloaded and customized to how you want it then keep it private. Everybody is entitled to their own private models that they have made unique for themselves, To "ban" them from the site is imo retarded. Make a screen shot thread like truckpol has for people to post trips and stuff like that. and IMO you should get corys side of the story before you jump to conclusions about stuff.
With all due respect Steve, I can go off the deep end if I so choose. No matter who has the so called story, versus what really happened, is really not the point I'm trying to put across. The end result, was damn near six years of rebuilding from the last bullshit stunt here, was erased again. Hardly any of it can be regained, recovered, whatever, so I have all the right I need to be pissed at who ever at this point. The main board's security log tells me one story, and it is, Cory was no angel at all here either, so I refuse to hear some kind of chicken little tale, and Cory being the victim once again, yadda, yadda, yadda. He wants me to totally believe his side, he can track down LW to tell me so, period. On the other note, this place is far from "Truckpol" , if this place becomes anything like "Truckpol", by my hands or others, I'll shut the pig down for good, I won't share a likeness to that place if I can help it.

I have all the information, proof you need about "lonewolf" and a couple other of your "dedicated members." I will not post it on the public board, but you know how to contact me.
You really think I want to hear your side? we've been threw this before Cory, and your little blackmail and deception tactics don't work on me, this isn't high school man. Do what you must, but again, I've heard all i needed too hear from you, I know what kind of person you are, and I don't need, or what you as a member of my forum, period.

Uh huh! And by the way, we don't bash members here, your many profiles were banned when we decided to trash your "known" name here, but whatever, I run the joint. You want to talk, fine, you can find me, I have no reason to talk to you, I'm still waiting to hear Lonewolf's side, and I won't listen to somebody else speak for him, he's a grown man. BTW Cory, stop rotating your "IP" so you can get around my banned list, I've already contacted your isp provider once about you, do I need to do it again?

Man I'll be honest. The company had a good start, but now it's almost "dead", everyone stopped "working" but I'm gonna email them all soon. For this company I did skins for about 10 trucks and 2 trailers (yes currently there are only 2 trailers, but there will be more in the future), and I'm still making new skins for new trailers, new trucks, ecc... Also I'm thinking of making an American division (that's why I'm currently playing on Haulin') and a division for German Truck Simulator (it's been released a couple of days ago). It's pretty hard, there's always a lot of work to do, and I'm doing everything by myself because there aren't modders that could help. Everything requires a lot of time. But if the members stop participating in it all the work that I am doing has no sense, it's just a waste of time... I must find some ideas...
I hear you man, been there, done that, got the shirt and a detailed map.....hell I'm still there, lol. That is the bad side of the truck-sims community, as far as going out on your own. It isn't like other communities out there as far as "If you build it, they will come" (god I hate that movie) in this community, it might work like that at first.... it has for me here a few times over the years, but ultimately it has more to do with how much interest there is in whatever you are doing, and as you are seeing, many times, interest is sometimes gets lost all the way around.
I look around out there at all the other forums..... it's like looking down main street in an old miner town, it's odd, but it is much like a gold rush fever, that drives a lot of truck-simm'ers too if you notice. New game comes out, people get all fired up, forums spring up all over the place, game mods are a dime a dozen...... a couple months, or six months later...... you can literally watch tumbleweeds roll right past you, lol.
All in all though, you hang on to your company long enough, put the word out about, dead forums too, you'll find real truck enthusiasts out there once in awhile that will join your cause..... that is the method that keeps our madness around so long, lol. That is why I'm still around, and won't go away until they totally shut our internet down for a government version like Australia did, or my health finally takes me out. At the end of the day, it isn't about the games here, although the board is geared toward such. It's really all about like minded people getting together, sharing ideas, and sharing in a hobby.
You'll see better days come summer man, hold on to it.

Really nice Jerry... School started last Thursday for me but I keep on truckin' when I've got some free time, in these days I'm playing on Haulin'. I did an application for a VTC about 2 weeks ago, and I'm still waiting... & I really don't know how much I'll still have to wait. I'm gonna send a PM soon to the Owner telling him to cancel my application. I'm also quite busy with my european VTC. But I may turn back and drive again for you soon, maybe with Haulin, maybe with Euro Truck Sim...
good luck with school man. T.E.I. will be here if you ever want to come back, and best of luck with your VTC man, you prolly run your guys to death huh?,lol. To keep up with you, they'de have to,lol.

o.k., got T.E.I. back on one leg today, now we need drivers. Read up, sign up, haul out y'all.
Next is an update on the forums look, thanks to our dedicated forum mechanic "Lestad" I got to go get something to eat, and another cup of coffee, and I'll get that one started today, I have a lot of upgrades still to come though, might not get it all done for another month.
Still seeking folks that want to contribute time to our communities green-horns, I am trying to get this place back to what it was, as a help resource for the community. If you have a good long-hand or video tutorial you'd share with us us, to share with all, shoot me a message, thanks.

Well, it will be a long climb back up to where we were, but we are, and will get there. I don't know why someone felt they had to delete every forum, thread, and post here while I was out, we lost a lot of history, important information, and memories over the years, but it is after the fact now, so.
The last bit I'm going to say about it is this. I've backed up the security log from the forum, and have it copied many times, and in several safe places for keeping now. "Lone Wolf" I can see you fought, and fought hard for this place man, and I'm sorry you got left hanging to carry the load on your own. I will leave your account open, and you are free to come back, whether it really was you that deleted everything in my forum or not. I thought I knew you better, and I'll have to hear it straight from the horses mouth, as to why, why you did it, IF it was you. Anyway, once I can compile all the other "ip" addresses in the obvious free for all that went on here..... I'm going to ban those "ip"s that a ruling majority here finds fit to be banned. I will also personally call each (isp) provider over said "ip"s and mail the proof I have to the (isp) if that is what they want. I plan too to send the same "ip" lists to (proboards) as known attackers, as well as any other forum in the community, that would like a copy of the lists and screen shots, for their own security. In that case, contact me please.
I-10 will go on, and I'm fining new, very valuable staff members by the day. We have always been a friendly, small atmosphere, helping crowd here, and that will never change. We believe in having fun, in the forum, and the games whenever possible. I have had to suffer two forum attacks in the last ten years in this community.... to those who tried the last time.....lol. You can't keep an old dog down folks, you just don't get it do you? I'll lend y'all an old saying I once heard, from a man much older then I was then. "Old age and treachery, always over comes youth and skill." LMAO! We'll y'all later,we got a lot of work to do around here still.
Finally, I'm going to dedicate this newest rebuild of the (Interstate 10 Truck stop Forum) to the following members.
I'm okay with everything there, all mods I make are posted up for people, no matter how crappy they may be.
I don't want you guys thinking I expect everyone to offer mods, that isn't the point I wanted to hit home for some. I just won't stand for the whole "me,me,me" crap anymore. That is what kills a community like this one, not people like me who don't want ridiculous situations around, like "Private Model Viewing".

Yeah I think we will do fine. Penguin is a good kid. One of the few out there. He is definatly an asset to any forum. You guys seem like a stellar group to hang with. I only own Haulin atm so if you guys need a driver for the Haulin side let me know.
I really think I could enjoy hangin around here now. Welcome back gravedigger. I am new to you but Penguin can let you know about me. Just let me know what I can do to help out.
I may have my name on the sidebox as Bignasty but I would prefer everyone to call me by my real name Corey ( not the bad one) I am a different corey. I am 33 years old and know how to treat people with the respect they deserve.
Well Corey, I'm Jerry, nice to finally type with you. I don't read people by their handles, I liked it when I saw you over at T.S.S., and it forced me to go buy "Convoy" again on DVD,lol. Well man, I'll put it to you like this. If penguin thinks you'll be a good asset to us here, I won't question it. I'm on a quick break right now, but when I can catch up with my log, and sit for a few hours, I'll find a way to pull a meeting of all the staff, so as a group we can all get a good idea of what to do from here, because in the past almost seven years, I've basically carried this place alone, with help of others of course, but idea wise....solo, and tired of it,lol. So Penguin, set the man up, Corey, welcome to I-10, and I can already tell we won't have any trouble getting along.

First off..... The Bulls*** stops right here and now. This will no longer be a place where people can come, show their ass to me, OR my staff equally.... and skate free for doing so. I'm going to start a new banning policy effective right here and now. You get on my bad side, you are gone, no questions asked. I am threw with the nice guy, give everyone a chance crap, because now I see what it has done to my forum, my contribution to the "Truck-Sims Community".
1. Private model viewing, PROHIBITED!!! in this forum, no exceptions what so ever! You don't want to, or don't feel like sharing with the community that keeps you around...... you won't be kept around here, I'll tell you that right here and now. Member ranking here, or personal community history means jack squat now kids. You want to hang around here, you will....WILL contribute, or you simply won't be here, DONE!
2. Call it critical discussion, call it being a wise ass critic, call it what you want.... you disrespect another member here on my watch, over their work quality, and if I find your words offensive, you'll be given one chance for each or any offense, to make your sorrys' or re-word your critical post on another member, after that, hit the bricks Jack. I will not, WILL NOT!! Tolerate my members abusing each other over creativity skills, this isn't kinder-garden, and I'm not here to baby-sit idiots, I'm here to run a tight ship, built on common respect of all, and their own little ability. If you can't handle that, go hang the hell out at "Truckpol" for all I care, this isn't a talent contest here, get that point NOW, or leave.
3. If you have a problem with another member or staff member here, you take it up with them. If you two, or more can't handle it, by all means call on me, or one of my staff to play ref between you. If you, for WHAT EVER REASON, start throwing crap around in my forum, or stomping around like a little child over who has what, who did what, like you have no control over your own damn emotions..... You will find your self on the other side of the back door here, and banned, PERIOD! I don't need the little drama scenes here, take it else where, and I won't give a warning what so ever on this one, so walk carefully here, if you are so inclined.
Real simple folks..... you want to play fair here, like it has always been. Treat the other person here, like you want to be treated, and just try and get the hell along, maybe have a good time. You want to come in here, thinking you have clout to go around just because you know whoever, for however long...... or maybe you think you can play your little petty black-mail stunts on whoever to get your way here..... I won't only ban you, but I'll make it my personal ambition to ruin you in this community, in whatever way I can possibly find. Get it!? Got it!?......good.

The Rules « Result #44 on Nov 5, 2009, 6:45pm »
THE I-10 RULES
1. Bashing the staff is not allowed, including being rude in PM's, if you wanna do that, then you're banned for good.
2. Try to avoid swearing on the forum or other offensive language. If you swear too much, then we're gonna have to do something about it. That also includes language used that can be found offensive. (ex. racial/sexual slurs)
It's ok to criticise games or other member's work, but try to be constructive and don't let it get out of hand, 'cause if it does, we're gonna have to stop it.
As for swearing though, it's alright if it's used tastefully (ex. that is a badass truck!), but not in every other word.
3. No Fighting of any kind between members in the public forum is allowed, if you have a beef with another member use PM's instead or contact staff. No name calling towards another member of the forum is allowed. If you have a problem with another member on this forum, notify the staff ASAP.
4.No spamming on the forum is allowed, meaning posting the same thing in several boards, quoting pics without any comments, etc.
5.Respect other members posts, they have an opinion too. If you find anything very offensive in the posts, then contact staff.
7.No enforcing any idea's on the forum in regards to the new games, You may make postings of your idea's but please keep in mind that the game developer might not use them.
8. The one thing that is a definite NO is hacking and/or stealing models. (ex. taking credit for other's parts, use without permission, etc.) If any member is caught stealing or hacking models and gets their name on the blacklist, the member will be banned for life without any notification. Any links or pictures of stolen mods will be removed by staff.
9. Any topic that gets out of hand will be locked or removed. If a topic gets locked, staff will clean the topic up before it gets reopened again.
10. Any thread or post in any form about illegal activities such as cracks, serial or illegal downloads are not allowed.
11. Multiple accounts or proxy accounts will be banned and deleted without any notice.
